Frequently Asked Questions

When do I need to register?

Registration closes on February 21, 2026, or when we hit our maximum racer count. Register early as we have limited spots available!

When will I receive my car kit?

Kits will be available for pickup at the Scout Shop starting December 1, 2025, or shipped to you based on your delivery preference at registration.

Can I register at the door?

Due to kit availability and event planning, we require pre-registration. Walk-up registration will only be available if space permits.

What happens during car inspection?

All cars will be weighed and measured at check-in to ensure they meet class specifications. Once inspected and approved, your car will be held until racing begins.

Can I make changes to my car after inspection?

No. Once your car passes inspection, it cannot be modified or handled until after your races are complete.

What are the prizes?

Winners in each class will receive trophies and prizes. Additional details will be announced closer to the event.

Is there a dress code?

No formal dress code. It's a fun, casual event! Since there will be alcohol, please avoid wearing Scouting attire.

Can I bring guests who aren't racing?

Absolutely! Spectators are welcome and encouraged. There's no admission fee for spectators, but all attendees must be 21+.

Where does the money go?

All proceeds benefit Scouting America's Monon District, supporting local youth programs, camping, and leadership development. Our goal is to greatly reduce or eliminate the scouts' activity fee.
